A Thematic Bibliographic Index of Peer-Reviewed Amhara-Focused Publications in 2024

Abstract

This bibliographic index compiles peer-reviewed academic literature published in 2024 that is directly relevant to the Amhara people, their region, and broader concerns affecting their identity, governance, culture, and development. The collection categorizes 397 entries under 14 thematic sections ranging from Diaspora relations to Media and Communication. These works span a diverse range of disciplines—political science, history, linguistics, law, technology, economics, agriculture, and more—reflecting a growing scholarly interest in the Amhara question amidst ongoing regional and national dynamics in Ethiopia. Some multidisciplinary articles have been entered under more than one category. The index serves as a vital resource for researchers, policy-makers, and advocacy groups committed to understanding and addressing the issues affecting the Amhara community within Ethiopia and the diaspora.

አጠቃሎ
ይህ የጽሁፎች ጠቋሚ ዝርዝር እንደ አውሮፓውያን አቆጣጠር በ2024 ዓ.ም. በአቻ ባለሙያዎች ተገምግመው የታተሙ፤ በቀጥታ ከዐምሐራ ሕዝብ እና ከሚኖርባቸው አካባቢዎች፣ ከማንነቱ፣ ከአስተዳደሩ፣ ከባህሉ እና ከልማቱ ጋር የተያያዙ ጉዳዮችን የሚነኩ ጽሁፎችን የሚያመለክት ነው። ስብስቡ ከዲያስጶራ ግንኙነት እስከ ሚድያና ተግባቦት ባሉ በ14 ክፍሎች የተከፈለና 397 ጽሑፎችን የያዘ ነው። እነዚህ የምርምር ሥራዎች በተለያዩ ዘርፎች ማለትም በፖለቲካ ሳይንስ፣ በታሪክ፣ በቋንቋ፣ በሕግ፣ በቴክኖሎጂ፣ በምጣኔ ሀብት፣ በግብርና እና በሌሎችም በኢትዮጵያ እየተካሄደ ባለው ክልላዊ እና ሀገራዊ እንቅስቃሴ ውስጥ በአማራ-ነክ ጉዳዮች ላይ ተመራማሪዎች ያገኟቸውን ጥልቅ ዕውቀቶች የሚያንፀባርቁ ናቸው። የተወሰኑት ጽሁፎች ከአንድ በላይ የሆኑ ዘርፎችን የሚመለከቱ በመሆናቸው ተደጋግመው እንዲዘረዘሩ ሆኗል። ይህ የጽሁፎች ጠቋሚ ዝርዝር በኢትዮጵያ እና በዲያስጶራው ውስጥ ያለውን የዐምሐራ ማኅበረሰብ የሚመለከቱ ጉዳዮችን ለመረዳት እና ለመፍታት ለሚተጉ ተመራማሪዎች፣ ፖሊሲ አውጪዎች እና ተሟጋች ቡድኖች እንደ ጠቃሚ ግብአት ሆኖ እንደሚያገለግል ይታመናል።
